Deep Creek Lake

We decided to take a long weekend last weekend and went to check out Deep Creek Lake. It's on the border of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio up in the mountains (or so they call them). It only took us about 3 hours to get up there and we had a great room at the Wisp Resort. Anyway, they have a nice small little beach on the lake which the kids LOVED, and nearby there is another park with some fabulous waterfalls. We had a great time.

Go Fly a kite

We spent this windy afternoon at the park flying a kite. This was our first family kite flying outing and I was a little concerned I wouldn't remember how, but it all comes back to you. Meghan was thrilled to fly the kite and we all had a lot of fun.

Nathan was sleeping so peacefully yesterday before I had to wake him up early to go and pick up Meghan. I love these photos. These moments are so sweet to remember...

Cherry Blossoms

On Tuesday, I took Meghan and Nathan to view the cherry blossoms. We ad a lovely day and the kids enjoyed the blossoms as well as the Jefferson and FDR Memorials
