It's fall now and that means apples. Yesterday I found some time to make a yummy apple crisp and Meghan got to help peel the apples while Nathan helped me make the crumble topping. The kids loved munching on the apple peelings. I was taken back to the time when I use to eat the long peels as a child while helping my mom to peel the apples.

Emilie is 4 months old now
I can't believe that Emilie is 4 months old already. She is a very sweet happy baby and loves to watch Meghan and Nathan. We love having her as a part of our family! She has just recently found her toes and is a very strong girl turning front to back already and can do almost a complete situp with amazing abdominal strength. If I had to predict, I think she will be an early crawler. At 12 lbs 7 oz she is a little peanut of a girl with a big sweet smile!

Planning my Garden
So excited that Spring is here. The plants are budding out, the daffodils are up and the crocuses are blooming already. I am having a garden fence built to prevent the deer from prevailing on my vegetable garden this year, and have had fun planning out our garden space. It's a 16X24 space, and this is what I plan and hope to achieve. I think I'll get it done, come harvest time it may be a little challenging with a new baby to keep tabs on too, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and can't wait for the yummy vegetables.
